Thanks for all the flattering comments. The metallic blue paint looks very striking next to the carbon fiber. Although I have never seen an HP2S in person, I must assume that it looks fantastic in bright light.
I fired her up and rode around the neighborhood today just to make sure everything was reassembled correctly. Didn't come close to hitting 170 mph and seriously doubt the R1200S would ever get there.
The windscreen was manufactured by MRA in Germany for the Ilmberger nose fairing. I like the design of the Ilmberger part better than the OEM piece because it is stiffer and feels much less flimsy. Incidentally they sell a smoke screen this same style. Thanks for the suggestion regarding the flat spray on the inside. I will need to ride her a few times to determine if looking through the screen at speed is required.
