I have an appointment to have the 3M clearguard installed in the middle of December. Between now and then I have a few more things to take care of like determining the best position of the hand controls and drilling the LSL bars.
I really want to get out and ride her but I don't want to chip up the paint on the chin fairing before I have a chance to get the protective film installed.
Also I need to get the gas cap and franken bolts powder coated and the headlamp surround painted. Man was it a b*t*h to take the lens off the headlamp. BMW sure used some good adhesive while assembling the headlamp.
