Lexan rear hatch complete w/frame & wing FS

Removed from a 1987 944 turbo this is a complete lexan rear hatch built 3 years ago with bran new lexan hatch piece purchased for $500 shipped then mounted with proper windshield glue to a 944 hatch frame. Uses stock mounting hinges and pins as well as black rubber wing. Functions just as a stock glass does just no wiper, defrost or 60+ lbs to fuss with. And a good stock 3 piece 944 wing was used to finish it off. Still nice and clear kept up on cleaning and polishing. Saves over 60lbs from rear of 944 cars.

Complete ready to bolt on $450 + ship

Here are fresh pics from this morning this is a very stiff lexan hatch that does not bounce around. I have seen some guys install simple aluminum angle pieces from top to bottom in 2 spots of inside you can cut little strips of felt and glue to the aluminum to stop chaffing. These pieces can put a bit of pressure from inside out and give it more support. If you drove on freeway alot or if it was street car I would care but its a race car and with the engine blasting up and down and the road noise from track and other cars I hardly notice rear window making a bit of noise. Pretty clear and clean plastic its a bit foggy from morning rain here!
