Back to the CR calculator:
Interesting, it looks like you get a simple 3% HP increase for every 1.0 increase in CR. Now I know. And if the CR is high enough you need to consider twin ignition. $$$
Calculating HP/displacement is easy too. Correct me if wrong, 2.7 to 3.0 is @ 10% so 10% increase in power, other things being equal (ish).
Which brings us back to the old "displacement is king."
