I certainly don't need it. But, even though I don't have a S&W revolver, I don't need one of those either. Or a Blackhawk. Or a carbine in .357. I'm considering selling it, but to be clear, the proceeds of that sale wouldn't go towards satisfying needs, we're not converting it into non-spoon property.
