OK good on fixing the previous things. Now for the hatch
you have two problems.'
1... the hatch wont release this can be cured by installing a new lower latch collar a few vendors have this part, this will keep the latch in the right position to be able to be unlatched.
If fitting this part doesnt work ,
then try moving the motor up and down a small amount in its adjusters,
if no good then try
adding a piece of zip tie to the rear edge of the male latch this will tilt it forward.
Loosen the male latch bolts and slide the tie in the rear edge then tighten the bolts.

2 the motor keeps running.

First make sure that the fuses are good for the hatch there is one thats a 1 amp and another one.
If the fuses are good...
Next there is a diode that has failed internal to the hatch motor,
the diode can be swapped out and then the motor will work as it should,
