I have a clean engine block, out of an 89 non turbo, the balance shaft oilers have been welded shut, and it looks like an adapter for a turbo oil line has been threaded in. The cylinders are nice and smooth, the block deck looks like it may have been machined because it is very clean. The only problem I see is one of the bolt holes is messed up but it looks like the inside has been welded and a bolt still threads in. I didn't do any work to it, the block came with a parts lot that I bought. $350.
