You 911 will hold value (and still be fun) better than the 3 series, the 996, well, we don't even need to go there.. Where is the 993 located??

Yah...there in lies the rub, as they say. My BMW is a rock...low mileage and super clean. The 911 is already worth more than I paid for it. I hate to lose that, too. It's a tough decision. I'm in southern AZ (as is that 993) - moved here from WI last year. Now that I don't really need two cars (one for winter) I keep thinking I can combine the two into one nicer/newer P-car. So that's my dilemma.
My Carrera really could become a daily driver here, but it's so nice I don't want to subject it to the sun...and the A/C was removed by the PO. I consider put it back in but it seems moot down here...it's just so hot.
Anyhow - I may or may not do this. I realize the 993 is a better car than the 996, but if I can get a 2000 993 that I don't mind daily driving, has real-working A/C, maybe it's worth it. Then I can drive a P-car all the time. I'll miss the vintage 911, but that would be the tradeoff (and I know I will KICK myself for letting go of my 3-series!)
I keep secretly wishing I'd find someone here would would take both mine in trade for their newer one. Then it would be a no-brainer
