That's a mantis x-frame, circa early 80's, one of the first mountain bikes out there. one of the bikes that started this whole thing.

Back then I was riding a paramount that looked durn near i-dentical to this one cept the rear triangle mighta been a little tighter, Pretty sure that's a touring frame, mine weren't:
