You may or may not recall that I bought and paid for that Classic 49 Chevy truck form Chocaholic in Georgia. Been trying to get it shipped to North Ca but no one seems to want to schedule it even though I accept their quote. I have since found out that some of these places will give a low quote and then put you on standby for how ever long.

So, I got a quote from Union Pacific rail to go to Phoenix where Joe Aksa lives and it's doable if I can get a trailer to pick it up with. Rail to North Ca is a lot more for some reason. Joe is willing to receive it. I could put it on a Uhaul but those are open which I'd rather not do as this truck is 99% resto'd. I thought about flying to Phoenix and driving her home but feel a little goosey about driving such an old gal that 800+ miles.

So...that's the deal. Mike (Choc) is being a real stand up guy being willing to hold her there until I can put something together.
