Just kidding, Glen. I have to say for not working for the first time in my life since I was 13, it is depressing and a blow to the ego. Oh well. I will find a job soon.
And I remember when I started nursing, I was 22. I had a patient who insisted on seeing my drivers license and to speak with my manager because he didn't believe I was old enough to be a nurse. I had another patient refuse me for his nurse because I was "young" and therefore, had to be inexperienced. Ironically, the nurse he ended up getting was yes, older but I had been a nurse about five years longer than her with more experience. It was her second career. Funny.
