So, in review; do proper maintenance or a girl will die and your trophy wife will be unhappy (and probably leave you, but not in the car the girl died in).
Swepco is what I use, along with gentle downshifts while rev matching (heal toe throttle blipping) and never into first until almost at a stand still.
