I called a friend who works for BMW, here's his reply to the
1 series question:
1 series is a car we may get end of 03 first of 04 as I am told. It isn't set in stone as I don't think they have even shown any real official pictures of it. If they do it, I understand it will be a mid $20,000. car which would make it entry level for BMW. Don't know much about it at this point.
We'll see the 6 series and X3 or X activity (whatever they call it) and new 5 series by year end.
Maybe that helps a bit.
