Jeff hope you don't have a hangover when you wake up!!!
Going to do battle with AT&T again today, driving up to one of their 'real' offices in Waldorf to try to get the sons phone connected for two months, many hours over the phone yesterday and the night before did not do any good, seems like not having a Social and not having therefore a Credit Check possible stops them from adding the number to my already existing family plus account, I hate this 5hit!!!

Azzy, I can see that AT&T wants to make sure of your identity.
When any company asks for my Social I tell them it is none of their businesses.
By federal law only my employer and my bank have to have it. Of course that does not mean a company has to do business with me if I refuse to tell them my SSN.
One Opthamologist office insisted they had to have it for the computer. I told them it was 5555 55 5555 and they accepted than.
When I got my cell phone I had been an AT&T customer since 1978, back in the days when everyone had to rent the phone in their own house.
