Condolences, Glen.
Mrs. Noah really wanted to get rid of our dog last week. I think she's hitting her limit in terms of having little kids in the house, working part time, volunteering, and general running of the household. Thank goodness the cats are fairly self-sufficient. She went so far as to email the rescue service where we found our dog and they responded to just bring the dog back to them. But through fate, the woman in charge was out of town and didn't get back to us regarding details of the handoff/return. At least until the end of the week, by which time we decided (as a family) we really can't part with our dog, neuroses (the dog's) and all.
