America is free because the populace wanted freedom, and was willing to lay down their lives for it. These people don't want freedom, particularly not our flavor of it. They want a religious fundamentalist government, and have been killing each other for hundreds of years because they don't agree on the religion. Nothing we can do will change that. We are now a welfare provider, nothing more. As soon as we leave they will go back to their old ways.
