Those Altecs look nice, but, the owner warns about using them at high output levels. Do you plan on doing that?
I was going to recommend looking for a pair of Infinity's but the CS-77's look like a nice deal, even when you factor in the re-foaming (which you can do yourself).
I re-edged the woofers in my Infinity Column II's and even my son says I don't need a sub-woofer now.
