We have raised and are raising our kids to be good Christians, good citizens, to avoid peer pressure and "keep-up-with-Jones" attitude. Our adult Son has never gotten into legal trouble and our 13 YO daughter is a beautiful young lady, but she can kill with a bow and a handgun. (She can kill, the gun cannot).
We have asked them to do as well as possible in all academic subjects and narrow down their vocation by what they like as long as it keeps them to be good Christians and good citizens.
Our Son is a man and he can be tender.
Our Daughter is a lady and she can be tough.
