There it is, exactly.
For us we stressed the tenants of the CC, right up until they were 16, then the Catholic Church requirement was lifted.
They drifted away a bit, then returned at 18/19.
We build foundations as parents, at least in my mind, not a simple task. There is a point when they become adults and have their own free will.
