Thanks, I'm not surprised the clips break. When I removed the spoiler I ordered one clip to replace one that was damaged. Due to a fulfillment mix up, I ended up getting 10 clips instead of one so I have lots if there is a problem.
When I put mine together, I set the clips in place before snapping the moldings into the slots. This way, I did not have to snap the clips on afterwards as they were already in place. It worked like a charm.
I have a tiny leak somewhere under the moldings so this will be a good opportunity to get it fixed. There were a number of holes drilled through to hold the old spoiler and one of them may be still leaking even though I put silicone on each one.
