I saw that segment but didn't hear it the way you describe.
On the president - I only saw O'Reilly's disdain on why there wasn't any intervention by him or his staff - specifically our secretary of state after so much publicity on the marine vet's plight.
I don't remember him saying the president was to blame for the arrest and incarceration - only questioned why he wasn't doing anything to get him out.
There has been more coverage on FNC on the situation than on other networks. I've seen several segments over several different evenings.
I'm not trying to take sides but offering my observations. YMMV....just glad to see stories like this get some publicity. I only wish there wasn't this very tiring political spin on everything that happens in the country.
Maybe one day we will have less division - until then it's tearing us apart.
BTW - one more point - all these pundits (incl. those on FNC) make their living off creating division. But in there amongst the mud there is information if you can stand to wade through it all.
