The flu has turned into a head cold. Hmm, maybe a chest cold. I don't really have a plugged up or runny nose, my ears are plugged up, my equilibrium is off, I have a mild cough and had a scratchy throat earlier.

Take a bottle of brandy to bed, light a candle and sit it at the end of the bed. Now drink the brandy until you see three candles. Pass out and the cold will be gone. Probably replaced by a hangover :-) but you'll forget about the cold.
