Sitting in a Navy barrack in Virginia Beach talking about cool random cars we had never seen in a long time. I remembered seeing the 944 in Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed as a kid but never one in real life. I went on craigslist out of curiosity expecting them to be expensive but found a nice running 1983 Guards Pink 944 for $2,200. Dad picked it up for me and the rest is history. He always says I should have just bought a Honda Civic and not have to worry about all the work I do, lol.
