I'm pretty sure dad had than ingrained in me before I started driving
. 4 saws from 20" down, putting on an old "dirt chain" when needed. Not sharpening them "every time", just touching them up when necessary and to the "shop" when needed every few years. Some saws have been "workhorses" over the decades...not nearly as much these days.
