+1 Harry D first time I saw a 911 was on a school trip to Germany. The highway patrol pulled into the service station behind our bus and they were driving a 911 SC Targa this was 1981, I fell in love with Porsche there and then. Fast forward to 2008 and I eventually bought a 1982 911 SC targa. She will never be concourse condition and I now have more in than she cost me but I am the proud custodian and owner of a wonderful piece of automotive history which gives me more joy than any modern car I have ever owned. I get the looks and comments from other people but I never think I am elite just a happy guy who drives a nice old 911...
