I realize the market LOVES old cars with low miles. They happily pay a huge premium for them.

The reality is that used BMW 5 series lease returns are out there in huge volume. And it's still true that the market rewards low mileage.

So, would you rather buy a 2010 BMW 528XI with 48K miles for $24K? (High side of "normal miles" for year, remaining warranty)
Or a 2007 BMW 525XI with 36K miles for $24K? (Radically low miles for year, no remaining warranty)

Let me know if you want a 2010, there are hundreds of them out there......with very low miles (10-15K) and very high miles (85-90K), from $19K to $32K your price

Here's a 2010 BMW 528XI with 47K miles, no accidents, Comfort, Premium, Cold Weather w/ heated seats and steering wheel, Comfort Access with pushbutton start, etc, etc. This one is $24,925 total Pelican price. Under warranty until Nov 2013.
