I used a mirror to look inside the hole for the O2 sensor and it looks like a thread chaser might get the threads out. I was able to pick some of them out with a screw driver, so I think the bung can be saved.
And yes, I am fairly certain that my car was running insanely rich. There was smoke coming from my exhaust, the exhaust smelled like gas, my oil reaked like gasoline, my spark plugs were black, etc. If I can manage to get the exhaust off that'll give me an excuse to remove the cat and put in a nice high flow cat or resonator
I'm sure my cat is clogged from running super rich.
