Speaking from experience, I can almost guarantee the guy got the size he ordered, and that it was read back to him when he ordered it. People simply don't pay attention when they're ordering, and any delivery guy will have seen the "wait - that's a
large?" face many times.
I'm curious how he knew the driver had other pizzas in the car to deliver. I can't see how that would come up.
