I paid $2,250 for it (in 1970) I belonged to some relative of (Colonel Fletcher = "Fletcher Parkway" in San Diego. hE painted it Apollo Blue.

I live in San Diego north county, lived here all my life. Born next door to Oceanside Harbor.

BTW, I've had a # of porsches, but this one is the only one I've ever seen with a (6v) electric tach. (2 wires, connect to both sides of dist coil) It was 'squirrily' some of the time, can it be fixed or tuned up?? The car has the cable for a mechanical tach, but hasnt rotated at least since 1970 when I got it.

Welcome and let me know if I can help. I got pretty deep into the 356 mechanical world with Paul's, (Seahawk's), car a couple years ago. There are plenty of good resources here in SoCal for everything you'd need.

Glad to hear that you've hung onto it!
