Don't hold your breath waiting
When the numbers get down to under 500, maybe they will be worth something.
Till then it's just another old car that in it's production run hit the "FAIL" button.
Shouldn't have, but it did.
Trabants, another classsic German car are now collectors items. (some people will collect ANYTHING!!)
Trying to talk up the value does not work, seen this on other forums I used to frequent,, MGB (a disgusting primitive piece of ****.:confused) (Mazda MX5 did it so much better!) TR8, (Triumph tried, but it just didn't work, too late.) 240Z Datsuns, looked good, but until they started transplanting Chev's etc, was just another underpowered Japanese rustbucket. (I thought they were so "collectable"I put a Toyota 1J turbo into one.) Sold it for mor than a "concours/collectors"car would sell for!
Why won't the powers that be start giving a hard look at Studebaker Golden Hawks, Now that is a car to drool over!
Really, who want's a car that costs double what it's worth to maintain?
