Enjoy them while you got them. I'm not convinced that two generations from now will have any real interest in what we love.

Within 10 years there will be electric self navigating cars. If you think about it, the ripple from that will be fewer people learning to drive, and even fewer doing a lot of driving. They will be close to idea to replace taxi's, and private ownership vs coop or some kind of hours per month plan.

At some point early in this all cars will have some kind of transponder, and that will end all speeding off the track.

OTOH cars like the 928 may be among the few that are kept because of their track abilities, like some keep horses now. You never ride to work, but maybe a couple weekends a month cut loose on the track, or a drive in the country.
