Any ideas on what this is worth. Any comments would be appreciated.

Jon,
Welcome to the world of 911s

You will find a lot of help here.
First, is it a 911T, 911E or 911S? Coupe or Targa?
What is the rust and prior crash damage repair situation?
Search the 911 Forum about PPI instructions. This will give you an idea where and what to look for.
Have a 911-knowledgable Pelican or PCA person look at the car.
Post lots of detailed images here.
Absolutely have a professional PPI done by a competent (and 911-knowledgable) shop that has never had contact with the car or owner.
Find out about the history of the car.
Who was the original owner? Who were any other owners?
What is the service history?
The 911 is coming up on its 44th birthday. Lots can have happened, both good and otherwise.
If you are afraid someone else could buy the car while you are doing your ‘due diligence’, enter into a ‘Purchase Agreement’ contract with the seller.
