Lots of snow and ice in the Slocan Valley and when it curls off the roof like in the picture; it’s time to head south.
It feels sooooooooooo good to drive to Vancouver through a winter landscape on Hwy. 3 for 8-9 hours, leave the Honda parked underground at the Hotel and fly out the next day.
With Hawaii and cruises plus touring, I spend about 3-4 months in the US per year. That’s enough time there because I don’t want to end up paying income tax to Uncle Sam, I pay enough here. Wouldn’t be surprised if the US changes visitors requirements one of these days; they need cash.
The only ice we want to see is in the Mai Tais and in Susan's white wine glass.
