The tube between the MC reservoir and the clutch MC failing would have no effect on braking whatsoever. Anyone who thinks differently does not understand how the system works.
If the tube that goes from the reservoir to both the brake MC and the clutch MC, and the tube breaks, there is no more fluid going to either cylinder.
Once you push the brake or clutch pedal ONE time and either MC sucks air inside, please enlighten us on how well its going to function oh great all knowing one?

Joe, the tube goes from the brake fluid res to the clutch MC, not from the res to the brake MC. If it broke, you'd be little low on brake fluid, that's all.
FWIW, I don't put cheap parts on any vehicle and I'm a maintenance freak, especially with brakes. I use dealer pads on my cars, generally speaking. I get them for as cheap as humanly possible, but that's as far as my cheapness goes.
