I have a nice Targa I have had for 9 years, and doing work on them doesn't scare me, 300K on the chassis is a LOT. Especially for a Targa. Mine has 125k and flexs, I can only imagine what a 300K car flexs like.
50K miles ago is a long time ago for a rebuild. It's not "fresh". Add to it the fact it's semi custom.
I bet it's a blast to drive and the paint and wheels look nice. I like the tail, I keep thinking of doing that to mine. I just couldn't get past the raw numbers.
