Jake, your perception is spot on. SCs are more rev-happy than Carreras, slightly lighter and a bit more raw in stock form, no question there. For me it's about CIS. Plenty of cars are tuned perfectly fine and work well, but friends who have had them always complain about the system, so that's colored my perception. I've driven a few and always wanted more power. I'd much rather take a 3.2 and put on 1 5/8" exchangers/headers, a sport muffler and Steve Wong chip to match the SC rev profile, get a lot more power and then put the car on a diet. And you get a little more selling security in a Carrera than an SC I think, but that's never been a consideration in purchasing.
