Very enjoyable read. It's hard to comprehend the vastness of DV and how desolate it is. Even as an international tourist destination I would guess less than 1/1000 of 1 percent is habitable, let alone occupied. It is, however, high on my list of favorite places to visit - esp. when the weather is crappy in LA.
