When I recovered my dash, I used the SEM to change the color of the bottom from black to the linen. I'm more than satisfied with the results and that dye does not want to come off the black vinyl at all. Is it an exact match? Probably not, but none of my friends can tell the difference, I can't either.
Follow the directions they have posted on their website and you should get the same results.
