Hugo, What are the restrictions? A 79 is eligible for antique plates, like my 69 & 72, and no state inspection is required. I don't know of any restrictions, and if there are any, they don't enforce them. When I worked in corporate USA, I drove the Targa to work a couple of times per week during the summer, on Rt 78, and never had a problem. Nor with the coupe in fall and early spring. I'm insured with JC Taylor who also allows occasional commutes.
