If you look at the picture in this thread, post #2 (http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/708863-re-80-sc-passenger-door-handle-repair.html) you'll see a good picture of the mechanism. There is a bolt which can be over-tightened during assembly. If you overtighten it, there will be more effort to open the latch and sometimes it won't return after being pulled.

Once you get the handle mechanism out of the car door, its not too hard to work on. Let me know if you get stuck and I can provide some pictures or more info.

PS. Ask around for a used trigger - a generous Pelican sold me his old unused trigger parts very affordably.
