this is rapidly becoming a deal breaker. i have a cool cat. she is a stone-cold killer. mice = good, song birds = not so good.

i can deal with it. she vomits the usual hairball. cool. she usually dry heaves long enough that (if i am home) i can pick her up and strategically allow her to barf on tile, or a hard surface. but she also has this episode of violent emptying of her stomach. last night, she was sleeping on my chest. i was in deep REM sleep. i heard the "blook" of one dry heave and instintively i chest bumped her away from my face. she landed at the foot of the bed and EXPLODED! it was dark but it sounded like a half pint of pea soup hit the ground. my bed is high so that stuff splashed everywhere. the smell! i cleaned everything. i put so much laundry into the wash and hit the button that says, "ultra-wash". i have thrown out furniture, rugs..clothing. my high end down comforter is going to the dry cleaner today. it is awful. we took her to the vet and they tell us she is healthy. i made another appointment. she was this close to coating my face with cat food..so glad i am a light sleeper.

i am beginning to feel like a hostage to puke. i am hoping this is a parasite issue. she craps like a champion, so i know she isnt impacted. if she would have puked on my face..i would have lost it.
