if you have downloaded gopro cineform (its free), do an update check on your firmware if you haven't already.

when you import a new file you can muck around with framerate, speed up and frame blend (motion blur) in the advanced settings.

i leave my frame rate on whatever setting the video was captured at and i use the speed up slide bar to speed and blur things up. the driving parts in my last 2 videos are at #3 and the sunset was at #25

use the 'in' and 'out' buttons to mark what parts of your video you want to convert and add then to the 'conversion list'. when you're ready 'convert all' and then go to step 2 'edit.'

in step 2 i check the video i had just converted is how I wanted it then i apply a reset filter in the bottom left. whatever the file name is when i converted it I add 'final' so I know which one i want and then I export MP4.

i use a 3rd party movie maker to stitch it all together, add transitions, titles and music. This is because my windows 7 movie maker doesn't like gopro mp4's. imovie should be good if you have a mac. I use videopad video editor which i'm still learning how to use.
