Good advice.
Jeff, you can't beat rice bran oil for fish and chips.
Seems to be nice and dry(not greasy).
Chilli sauce is done.
6 spring onions trimmed and cut into thin strips
5 cm piece of ginger cut into thin strips
1 large red chilli finely cliced
½ cup light soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar 2 tablespoons
To make the dipping sauce, combine all ingredients except peanut oil in a heatproof bowl. Heat peanut oil in a small heavy-based pan until surface seems to shimmer slightly, then carefully pour into bowl to release flavours.
