Motor Trend went to Shelby's shop in Vegas ten years ago to choose the most significant car of the 20th Century (or some such award) and came across the first Cobra. The two MT writers asked about the car, which one was it/was it an early 260 car, etc. Shelby's reply was, "That's the first one." The writers followed up with the first 260, first 289?
