Just to chime in, I did get a pair of boot... dang looking at the beginning of this thread it has been almost two years!
They are very comfortable, been so long don't even remember the name of the maker. I did get them in a farm supply store in Oregon is they are REAL cowboy boots.

Only downside is I bought dark brown and they are getting darker with age... thus making it difficult to justify buying a second pair of black boots.
