On a Boxster, I doubt changing the motor mount, or transmission mount, will have any effect on your shift quality. Boxsters sport cable shifters, which can take up a lot of slop before the shifting precision is affected.

Shifting problems due to worn out engine/transmission mounts are limited to cars that sport a shift linkage such as 914's and early 911's.

The part you are asking about is called a "stop" and the new P/N is 9A1-375-257-01. They are pretty pricey for what they are!
