With water cooled heads (still has a big central fan for the cylinders) like the 962 shown.
The 959 seems like it was Porsche pulling out all the stops and saying, "Hey everybody, here's every current technological trick in our playbook we can throw at a 911 street car." It's just crazy high tech for 1987.
