A sub-thread has been going on here http://forums.pelicanparts.com/paint-bodywork-discussion-forum/728020-color-sanding-final-polish.html#post7209006 I figured it deserved its own thread as finishing paint is an art in itself. Once again I now respect the time and effort a good detailer puts in. There's over 8 solid hours and don't think I'm halfway through. Some photos of the process...









These are the latest photos. The car has had a heavy cut, but no swirl remover or fine detailing (and it needs quite a bit!). For the record these photos are some of the most accurate I've gotten of the Ossi Blau (6803) colour, it was an overcast evening and no flash was used.
