I've used wheelskins multiple times on multiple vehicles. They won't look exactly like the factory cover because they won't be cut to cover the ends of the spokes, but I've always had good luck. They look and feel good. I think it normally takes me an hour or so to put them on.
I know it's possible to buy covers (not wheelskins) for various 911 wheels that are cut to go on exactly like the originals. There may be something similar for bimmers too.
