okay, question for rick and anyone else that wants to answer:
the donut gasket that i replaced on my wife's subie a couple of weeks back, exactly like this one
1998 Subaru Forester Exhaust Gasket - Exhaust - Bosal 98 Forester Exhaust Gasket - 345-05018543 - ********* has a small exhaust leak. i thought that it would seal itself, being that the joint is spring loaded and the gasket seemed fairly compressible.
what do i need to do to get the thing sealed properly? another new gasket?
